A very special evening with the powerful play “Bol Mitti Deya Baweya”

Balwinder Bullet’s direction brought life to the stage. Every scene was thoughtfully crafted, making the play powerful, meaningful, and emotionally connected with the audience.

The lead character Qurbaan delivered a remarkable performance, capturing hearts with his intense and soulful acting.

The play beautifully reflected love, positivity, and the deep connection with life and humanity. Every moment on stage carried emotion, energy, and a powerful message.

Day 8 turned into a memorable celebration of theatre, passion, and powerful performance.

“Manto De Afsane” by Mastane Theatre What made this performance truly special was that most of the characters were portrayed by female actors, who carried the intensity, sensitivity, and boldness of Manto’s world with remarkable strength. Their performances were fearless, emotional, and deeply engaging capturing the raw reality that Manto’s stories are known for.

Saadat Hasan Manto’s writings have always reflected society without filters — exposing truths, questioning norms, and giving voice to the unheard. Through powerful storytelling and strong performances, “Manto De Afsane” brought those realities alive on stage, leaving the audience thoughtful and moved.

Day 6 of our theatre festival brought smiles, laughter, and heartfelt emotions with the play “Jee Aayean Nu” A beautiful comedy layered with a strong and meaningful message about senior citizens whose children move abroad, leaving them to navigate life and loneliness on their own.
The play made the audience laugh, but also quietly touched hearts with its emotional depth. It highlighted the reality of many parents who sacrifice everything for their children, only to spend their later years waiting for a call, a visit, or simply companionship.
