Guava is considered one of the most nutritious fruits in India. It is affordable, easily available, and rich in vitamin C, fiber, and many essential nutrients, making it an excellent part of a balanced diet.
However, it is not accurate to call guava a great source of protein. A 100-gram serving of guava contains about 2–3 grams of protein, which is relatively high for a fruit, but it cannot replace high-protein foods like lentils, milk, eggs, soy, or other protein-rich foods.
One of guava's biggest strengths is its very high vitamin C content, which can even be higher than that of oranges. It is also rich in dietary fiber, which supports healthy digestion and helps you feel full for longer.
Guava also provides potassium, folate, and antioxidants, which contribute to heart health, support the immune system, and help protect cells from oxidative damage. Eating guava regularly as part of a balanced diet can be beneficial for overall health.
So, it is not correct to say that guava is "more powerful" than avocado, because both fruits have different nutritional strengths. However, thanks to its excellent nutrition, wide availability, and affordable price, guava remains one of the most valuable fruits in the Indian diet.
