Kamal Haasan admitted in hospital

The breaking news that is coming in is that Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan has been admitted at a private hospital in Chennai due to food poisoning. However, reliable sources reveal that he has been recovering well and there is no need to worry. He is likely to be discharged today evening or tomorrow morning.

Once he is discharged from the hospital, he will be joining the sets of Papanasam, which is being directed by Jeethu Joseph. It is worth mentioning that the film is the remake of Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam.

The young actress, in a recent interaction with the media, shocked everyone by saying, "I would like to quit when I'm busy acting in multiple projects rather than calling it a day after a few years when I'm left with no projects at all." She has said that the idea to stop acting and concentrate on something else has been going on for quite some time now, but she has been unable to take that final decision. Samantha was also quick to add that her friends are not ready to let her go from the industry as of now.

, Vijay and Suriya visit AR Murugadoss at hospital

As news spread out that director AR Murugadoss has been hospitalised due to food poisoning, several film personalities have been extending their get well wishes and also paying him a visit at the hospital where he is admitted.

A bevy of star visitors, including Ajith, Vijay and Suriya, visited AR Murugadoss at the hospital recently and enquired about his health. It may be recalled here that the director had worked with all the three actors in his career and is directing Vijay in Kaththi right now. Incidentally, AR Murugadoss had fainted on the sets of this film and was taken to the hospital for treatment

Almost everyone would have been amazed by the visual effects involved in Shankar’s Enthiran. The national award winning VFX designer behind that film, Srinivas Mohan, will be a part of Vijay 58, which will be directed by Chimbu Devan. Touted to be a fantasy thriller, Makuta VFX will offer technical expertise for the film. It is worth mentioning that Makuta VFX bagged national awards for their splendid works in Naan Ee and Magadheera.

Vijay 58 will go on floors next month once Vijay completes AR Murugadoss’ Kaththi. Hansika and Shruti Haasan will play the leading ladies in the film, while music will be scored by Devi Sri Prasad.

Director Atlee of Raja Rani fame is now engaged to Priya. The director got hitched yesterday at a ceremony held at a five-star hotel in the city. Priya, a popular television personality, is also an actress, who is known for her role in Singam. We hear it is a love marriage, which has now been arranged by both the families.

Confirming the news, Atlee says, "Yes, I have found my real rani, Priya. We are friends, but of late, we fell in love and now, here we are, engaged. I've known her for the last eight years. We got engaged with the wishes and blessings of our close friends and family members. Our wedding will take place in November this year."
