t the TorinoFilmLab Meeting Event in November, when projects are presented to a selected group of film industry professionals from all over the world.

✨TFL and Les Arcs are joining forces once again to select one TFL alumni project in production or post-production, to be included in the Work in Progress selection of Industry Village Les Arcs 2026 - the professional platform of the Les Arcs Film Festival, dedicated to the independent European film industry - taking place from 12th to 15th December 2026.

Eligible TFL projects are those developed in the past editions of ScriptLab, ComedyLab, FeatureLab, TFL Funds, Next and Extended, that comply with Les Arcs Work in Progress eligibility criteria.

The selected project will show 7 minutes of excerpts to an audience of top industry professionals, followed by one-to-one meetings, and compete for 4 awards.

A great initiative under TFL Coming Soon: the Open Call for the Post-Production Award 2026! 🎞️

Offered and assigned by TFL’s partners APostLab, Filmmore and Posta, the prize consists of a scholarship to the producer of the winning project to participate in the annual post-production workshop of APostLab and a grant of € 10,000 in image post-production services at Amsterdam-based Filmmore plus € 10,000 in sound post-production services at Posta sound studio in Amsterdam, both to be spent on creative post-production services.

The award is reserved to one of the projects developed in the past editions of ScriptLab, FeatureLab, SeriesLab, ComedyLab, TFL Funds, Next and Extended that are now in advanced stage of development.

So, what actually happens during the Open Sessions we host with TFL partners during our workshops? They’re a great chance to connect with local industry professionals, attend masterclasses, get a behind-the-scenes peek at the lab atmosphere, and, of course, do plenty of networking.

Up next? Wednesday, 9th September in Madrid, during the SeriesLab workshop, thanks to the partnership with Comunidad de Madrid and Madrid Film Office. ✨

Between the June workshop in Poland and the September one in Spain, let’s jump back to the first SeriesLab workshop of 2026, hosted by the Polish Film Institute (Polski Instytut Sztuki Filmowej) in Kraków. ✨

Participants are currently developing their TV series projects, which will be pitched on stage at the TFL Meeting Event in November, and working on their story editing skills.
We honestly can’t wait!
