Jersey Film Society

Jersey Film Society The Jersey Film Society screens 17 films per season not commercially released locally - all on the large screen of the Jersey Arts Centre.

The first meeting of the Jersey Film Society took place on 11th December 1947 at the Café Bleu, West’s Cinema, St. Helier and it is still flourishing almost 80 years later. Since it began, the Film Society has been concerned with film as an art form, and it has shown literally hundreds of films that would not have been screened commercially, old classics on the big screen and modern masterpieces juxtaposed with thought provoking documentaries.

7:30pm TONIGHT at Jersey Arts Centre, we are screening A Real Pain.
Two mismatched cousins embark on a poignant journey through Poland to honour their grandmother’s legacy. Blending sharp comedy with heartfelt drama, this road trip unravels family ties, personal grief, and cultural history.
