🔎 📽️ La recherche avec et autour de appareils cinématographiques argentiques provenant de collections privées suisses - Florian Krautkrämer, Isabel Krek, Julius Lange (École d'art, de design et de cinéma de Lucerne)
Les collections privées suisses d'appareils cinématographiques argentiques sont confrontées à divers problèmes concernant leur avenir, allant de facteurs d'ordre humain, infrastructurel et financier, à des aspects plus pratiques liés à l'utilisation et à la réutilisation, à l'entretien, à la réparation et à la réappropriation des appareils et au risque de perdre les connaissances qui se cachent derrière toutes ces opérations. Nos trois invités ont développé un projet de recherche qui vise à proposer des réponses et à esquisser des possibilités allant au-delà de la mise à disposition d'espaces et de ressources, contribuant ainsi à la préservation et la transmission des connaissances, dans l'espoir de redonner vie à ces anciens appareils, avec leurs particularités et leurs modifications.
👥 Florian Krautkrämer est professeur de théorie et d'interdisciplinarité à la Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art. Il dirige le projet de recherche du FNS « La recherche avec et autour de appareils cinématographiques argentiques provenant de collections privées suisses » et, avec Winfried Gerling, le réseau DFG « Camera Studies ».
Isabel Krek est doctorante à la Section d'histoire et d'esthétique du cinéma de l'Université de Lausanne (CH) et chercheuse senior dans le projet de recherche du FNS « La recherche avec et autour de appareils cinématographiques argentiques provenant de collections privées suisses » à la Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art.
Julius Lange est doctorant dans le cadre du projet de recherche du FNS, inscrit en études des médias à l'Université de Potsdam et à la Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art. Il est également membre du réseau DFG « Camera Studies ».

🔎 📽️ Research with and on Analog Film Equipment from Private Swiss Collections - Florian Krautkrämer, Isabel Krek, Julius Lange (Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art)
Private Swiss collections of analog film equipment face a variety of issues concerning their future, ranging from personal, infrastructural, and financial factors to the more practical aspects of use and re-use, maintenance, repair, re-appropriation of the devices, and the risk of losing the knowledge behind these apparatuses. Our three guests have developed a research project which aims to propose answers and possibilities that go beyond the provision of space and resources, contributing to the preservation of knowledge, with the hope of bringing these old devices, especially with their particularities and modifications, back to life.
👥 Florian Krautkrämer is professor for theory and interdisciplinarity at the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art. He is the head of the SNSF-research project on “Research with and on analog film equipment from private Swiss collections” and, together with Winfried Gerling, of the DFG network “Camera Studies”.
Isabel Krek is a PhD candidate at the Section d'histoire et d'esthétique du cinéma at the University of Lausanne (CH) and a senior researcher in the SNSF research project «Research with and on analog film equipment from private Swiss collections» at the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art.
Julius Lange is the SNSF-research project’s PhD student, enrolled in media studies at the University of Potsdam and at the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art. He is also a member of the DFG network “Camera Studies”.
