Dans la Médina de Casablanca, Abla, mère d’une fillette de 8 ans, tient un magasin de pâtisseries marocaines. Quand Samia, une jeune femme enceinte frappe à sa porte, Abla est loin d’imaginer que sa vie changera à jamais. Une rencontre fortuite du destin, deux femmes en fuite, et un chemin vers l’essentiel.
