🎟️ WIN* TICKETS TO 'WE WENT UP THE HILL' 🎟️ Architecture and gothic horror collide in one of the most striking New Zealand films of the year!

Thanks to Vendetta Films, we’re giving our followers the chance to win* a double pass to see WE WENT UP THE HILL, opening on 9 October. This new ghost story comes from director Samuel Van Grinsven (Sequin in a Blue Room) and stars Dacre Montgomery and Vicky Krieps.

The film was shot in the wintry backcountry of Canterbury at Flock Hill Homestead, a building designed by Warren and Mahoney - the same architecture firm founded by Sir Miles Warren and Maurice Mahoney, who were the subjects of the 2024 RADFF hit documentary MAURICE AND I.

In WE WENT UP THE HILL, the homestead's minimalist limestone and timber architecture become the perfect stage for a supernatural chiller like no other.

There are many films featuring Erickson’s buildings, but very few, if any, address the fact that he was gay and had two partners who significantly influenced his work. Arthur Erickson: Beauty Between the Lines is not just a celebration of his architectural contributions but a reflection on the human experience of creativity, ambition, and the price of greatness.
