Kia Ora De Luxe Whānau!

Coming up this Monday night the 14th at 6.30pm, fresh from a debut sold-out midnight screening at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, and screenings at Whānau Mārama New Zealand International Film Festival 2026, we are very excited to be screening 'Mum I'm Alien Pregnant.'

Following in the footsteps of New Zealand classics such as Bad Taste and Brain Dead, this sci-fi/horror/comedy is described by RNZ as a "frankly batty and delightful film that takes you on a mad journey through conception, pregnancy, and some kind of deliverance." However, it's not all gross-out slime and alien wierdness, this story also touches on more serious themes of the struggle of women's empowerment over their own bodies, what it means to be an outsider in today's society, and a medical system that remains strongly biased towards males.
