School Holidays and the Fifa Cup are over, time to sit back, relax and watch a fun movie!
We have loads for all ages this week. For the kids we have the new live version of Moana (PG) on Friday afternoon, and on Sunday afternoon we have the Disney Classic Cinema film Pinocchio (G).
For those who missed the French Film Festival we have the ENCORE screening of Colours of Time (M). Very popular during the festival.
For those of you who like a good horror, we have 1 screening only of the new release Obsession (R16) on Friday night. If you are young looking please bring ID. Take our compliments if we ask to see it, thanks.
And for those of you after an epic adventure we have our Final screening of The Odyssey on Sunday night! Make sure you catch this!
And next weekend we have the re-screening of French Film Festival Couture (M) that was cut short with the GB-wide power cut last month.

This Sunday afternoon at 4pm we are screening one of this seasons Classic Cinema films, Pinocchio (1940) (G)
If you haven't seen this on the Big Screen, now is your opportunity to do so! Bring the kids too.

Walt Disney’s follow-up to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (at the time the highest grossing film ever and the first full-length animated movie) was Pinocchio – the story of wood-carver Geppetto and his puppet creation Pinocchio, brought to life by a blue fairy. Based on the 1883 childrens book by Carlo Collodi. Named the second best animated movie of all time by the American Film Institute in 2008.

Pinocchio is promised life as a real boy if he can prove himself "brave, truthful and unselfish". He embarks on the journey with the help of his personified conscience Jiminy Cricket and a host of other characters. Features the iconic tune When You Wish Upon a Star which picked up the Best Original Song Oscar.

Saturday we have a drama and a historical docodrama.
Sunday we have the Fifa Men's Quarter Final, then our next Classic Cinema film, and a new rom-com drama in the evening.

Primavera (M) is historical biography drama about a talented violinist, Cecilia, who starts confined in an orphanage, who meets Vivaldi who becomes her teacher. Under his mentorship and through his music, she gains courage to break free from the life she was destined for and pursue her passion.
This is in Italian with subtitles. First screening is on Saturday 11th July at 7:30pm, and the Final is on Sunday 19th July at 4:45pm. This time is due to the power cut scheduled for the 19th.
A definite for any classical music lover.

This week we have some interesting new films. First up, Tuner (R13).
A talented piano tuner who suffers from hyperacusis discovers an unexpected aptitude for cracking safes, turning his life upside down. A laid-back rom-com crossed with a low-key crime thriller, combined with something more serious — unafraid to ask existential questions about overcoming a handicap that directly impacts one’s art. This has been compared with other well-written character-driven dramas like last year's Thelma and 90's Good Will Hunting. I'm definitely seeing this!
First screening is on Sunday at 7:30pm. And the Final is on Saturday 18th July at 7:30pm.
This is R-Rated so if you are young looking, please be flattered when we ask for ID. Thanks.
