Three weeks.
Three weeks of 12-hour training sessions, sleepless nights, countless practices, revisions, retakes, frustrations, laughter, and moments of doubt.
Three weeks of giving our time, energy, and everything we had to bring COOLAI to life.
What started as an idea slowly became a story—and that story became something much bigger than we imagined. From scriptwriting, shooting, acting, editing, and everything in between, ibinuhos talaga namin ang lahat ng oras, pagod, at passion namin.
Hindi naging madali ang journey. We faced countless challenges along the way—pressure, exhaustion, unexpected problems, and moments when we questioned if we could still make it.
Pero hindi kami sumuko.
Kapag pagod na, nagpapatuloy.
Kapag kinakabahan, lumalaban.
Kapag parang hindi na kaya, sinasabi namin sa isa't isa, “Kaya pa. Konti na lang.”
And on competition day, we gave everything we had.
Not because we were certain we would win, but because we knew that COOLAI was a story worth telling.
We proudly carried our film as our entry for the Division Festival of Talents – CineMunti, and more than representing ourselves, we carried the name of Capul Agro-Industrial School (CAIS)with us.
This film became our little offering to our school—a way of saying thank you to the CAIS family that continues to inspire us to dream big, create boldly, and believe that our stories are worth sharing.
Then came the results.

Of course, a part of us wished for that gold. We would be lying if we said we weren't a little disappointed.
But after everything we had been through, we realized something:
We may have finished second, but this journey was never second-best.
Every sleepless night was worth something.
Every challenge made us stronger.
Every mistake taught us something.
Every laugh and every struggle became part of a memory we will carry with us.
Hindi man namin nakuha ang gold, we gained something far more meaningful—experience, growth, friendship, courage, unforgettable memories, and a story we can proudly call our own.
And perhaps that is what makes this journey truly special.
We didn't just make a film.
We made something together.
Something that challenged us.
Something that pushed us beyond our limits.
Something that reminded us what we can accomplish when we believe in one another.
Above all, buong-puso kaming nagpapasalamat sa Diyos for giving us the wisdom, strength, patience, and courage to overcome every challenge along the way. 🙏❤️
To our CAIS family, our teachers, classmates, families, friends, supporters, and everyone who watched, appreciated, believed in, and cheered for COOLAI—maraming-maraming salamat po.
Thank you for believing in our story.
We came with a story.
We gave it our time, our tears, our exhaustion, and our hearts.
We may have brought home silver, but we are taking home something much more precious—a journey, a memory, and a story we will never forget.
COOLAI may have placed second, but in our hearts, it will always be one of the stories we are most proud to have created.
