Cost-saving should never mean one employee carrying the workload of five. Fair workload planning protects both people and performance.
As HR, I believe that when there’s a vacant position, the solution should be to fill it—not simply add the workload to employees who already have their own responsibilities and job descriptions.
Otherwise, they end up struggling to finish their actual work while handling tasks that aren’t even part of their role, and productivity suffers.
