Since its launch in 2017, Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema has grown into one of the region’s most distinctive open-air cinema experiences - bringing together film, music, cocktails and community in a way that has consistently delighted audiences.
Ranked among the most beautiful open-air cinemas globally, Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema has become a category defining experience and a much-loved fixture on the cultural calendar.
As we looked ahead to the 2026 season, we took the opportunity to step back and consider how Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema could continue to raise the bar in the years to come. With that longer term view in mind, we’ve made the decision to pause the 2026 edition.
With the events landscape continually evolving, now is the right time to thoughtfully reimagine what Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema could become next - building on its strong foundations and shaping an even more distinctive chapter ahead.
We’re enormously proud of what’s been created over the past years and deeply grateful to our partners, audiences and collaborators who’ve made the event what it is today.
All 2026 ticket holders have now been fully refunded.
