ton, the Regent is MBTA and handicap accessible with a municipal parking lot across the street ($1 per hour Mon-Sat until 8pm; free after 8pm and all day Sundays) and a variety of great restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The Regent is dedicated to bringing the highest quality events to the area, and while we are a community theater attracting audiences from Arlington and the surrounding towns of suburban Boston, we have a number of exclusive events throughout the year with nationally and internationally known performers-many of whom are bona fide legends.

Regent Theatre Arlington welcomes the one and only Ted Neeley to our stage for a star-studded event on Sunday August 2, 2026, 5:00 pm. 🎟️ Tickets are on sale now!

Iconic actor Ted Neeley, star of Norman Jewison’s classic 1973 film Jesus Christ Superstar, reunites with actors Kurt Yaghjian (Annas) and Larry Marshall (Simon Zealotes) for a special screening of the remastered version of the film.

As part of the nationwide Ted Neeley Farewell Tour, this rare screening will not only reunite the famed cast but will also be the final Northeast screening to feature Ted Neeley in person.

Regent Theatre Arlington will celebrate cats next month with CatVideoFest, the family-friendly, cat-themed film event of the summer! 😸

An annual film compilation of cat videos found on the internet, CatVideoFest screens this August for a limited time from Oscilloscope Laboratories. This year 10% of proceeds will benefit All Cats All the Time, a Boston nonprofit founded by Cat Behaviorist Rachel Geller.
