And to think I’ll be back here in a month and a half. Sharing these photos because it was Elisa’s birthday yesterday and I just love that I have so many Aries in my life.

I still have so many photos from this 3-4 hour morning session in Firenze and I need to share them all because it was way too much fun and Elisa and Eric brought out the best in me that morning and I’ll be forever grateful to them for that.

It’s this magic that you get to give and breathe in to somebody. It almost takes its on form because you gave it to them and their using that magic to breath themselves to life. I have a friend who when I was at my lowest she said that she could only see me as a a light, a dim light but still a light.
She explained to me, when she looks at people that’s all she sees. At that moment I didn’t really understand what she meant.
A year later that’s all I see. I look at people I love and they are just glowing and radiating a bright light.

When I’m photographing my goal is to capture that light I see. When I’m editing my goal is preserve that light.

Surround yourself with people that see your light, no matter how you look.

15 years ago I came to Tulum for the first time and remember thinking it felt completely magical like nowhere else I have seen before.

It’s been a mix feelings of how much it has change from being surrounded by pure Jungle and nature and also loving the architecture of this place.
Getting the chance to photograph couples here, surrounded by playful design and breathtaking architecture, has been such a spark for my creativity.

This wedding was super special because not only did I documented it with my favorite people but also at Hotel Xcaret which I’ve been wanting to document a wedding at. One year later here I am. Meeting wonderful people and documenting love stories with my friends.

I’ve been documenting weddings for nearly 15 years, and every one of them holds moments that spark joy and connection.

Each one of them has taught me a lesson. And how love looks through someone else’s eyes. For one full day, nothing else matters. It’s like stepping into a bubble, away from the chaos of the world.

And for a day, a small group of us gather to celebrate two people choosing the highest form of connection: love.

It’s the way that everything feels.
Hot, Wet, Cold Sweat,
Measured, Slow, Fast Little Breaths.
And I hear moans of ecstasy everywhere.
See the writhing souls,
Some resigned, most scared.
Afraid of what they already are.
Feeling, Living, Doing, Breathing,
Pacing, Coming, Rolling, Seething.
Loving every minute of it
Racing, Praying, Dreaming, Touching.

I know many of us suffer from seasonal depression and I believe is hitting harder this year with all the cruelty we are witnessing on a daily basis.

My sister once told me that I needed to find meaning and something that keeps me going. And what keeps me going is you guys, the love that shines through all of you.

My job has given me an open window to what we are all made of and that is love. Love truly conquers all and we have somehow forgotten that.

It is very dark out there but just remember that without darkness we cannot see the light.

Last wedding of 2025 on film!

I’ve been documenting weddings for 15 years and for 2026 I want to keep finding ways to keep the honeymoon phase going by documenting love stories in different ways that come from a playful and nostalgic way.

With social media and AI growing fast I want to slow down and keep things true to myself and what I believe in when it comes to expressing art from a form of documentation and to enhance the love that’s already there.

When I got contacted to document this proposal at my hometown Guadalajara, I was crushed the dates were not aligned for me to be there, but I knew the perfect person to be my eyes that day, thank you for capturing them so beautifully.

It was such a joy for me to help execute this engagement, to choosing the right location and timing to make this perfect for the two of them and editing his work was as if I was there.

I want to document more engagements this year!
