Auburn State Theater is a movie theater updated with digital projection, digital 7.1 sound, silver screen and new seats! We feature RealD 3D when the movie is in 3D. The State Theater is fully Handicapped Accessible! No steps, 3 handicap accessible restrooms, handicap seating, equipment for the hearing impaired, deaf and visually impaired. Now showing at the Auburn State Theater “Heart of the Beast” Rated R. Showtimes are 2:00pm on Saturday and Sunday and 7:30pm nightly!

Starring Brad Pitt as a retired Special Forces veteran. The film follows James Belmont and his combat dog, Odin, as they trek 58 miles through the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness after a catastrophic plane crash.

The next movie will be “Going for Two” rated PG-13 starting Oct 23rd. “Going for Two” is a coming-of-age comedy set in Omaha, Nebraska, during the fall of 1983, scheduled to hit theaters on October 23, 2026. Written and directed by Nebraska native Kathleen Welch Markel, the film follows a fatherless 12-year-old boy named Jimmy Moriarty as he looks to legendary Nebraska Cornhuskers coach Tom Osborne as a distant mentor while navigating growing up and embarking on hilarious schemes with his tomboy best friend, Frankie.

Now showing at the Auburn State Theater “Angel and the Badman” Rated PG-13. Showtimes are 2:00pm on Saturday and Sunday and 7:30pm nightly!

Based on the classic 1947 John Wayne Western, the story follows a feared outlaw named Quirt Evans who staggers onto a family ranch with a bullet in his back. Nursed back to health by Penny and her family, he begins to rethink his violent past. However, he must make a final stand when a ruthless gang led by Laredo and a closing-in marshal threaten his chance at redemption and his new home.

The next movie will be “Heart of the Beast” rated R starting Oct 16th.

Upcoming , on Oct 23rd we will be showing “Going for Two”, Set in the fall of 1983 against the backdrop of the historic Nebraska Cornhuskers football season, 12-year-old Jimmy Moriarty faces a deeply personal problem. With no father around, Jimmy and his tomboy neighbor and best friend, Frankie, launch desperate schemes to raise money for a medical fix while looking to legendary Husker coach Tom Osborne as a mentor from afar.

Now showing at the Auburn State Theater “Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie” Rated PG. Showtimes are 2:00pm on Saturday and Sunday and 7:30pm nightly!

The PAW Patrol crash-lands on a secret dinosaur island after a storm. They meet Rex, a pup stranded there who knows everything about dinosaurs. Their rival, Humdinger, starts reckless mining on the island and causes a volcano to erupt. The pups must work together to save the island and the dinosaurs.

The next movie will be “Angel and the Badman” rated PG-13 starting Oct 9th.
