🎬 **ORIGINS: A FILM FESTIVAL**
**September 16–20 at The Gem Theatre**

Five Days. Five Films. One Community.

We’re excited to finally share more details about **Origins: A Film Festival**!

For one week, every festival ticket is just **$5**. And we’re adding a special way for our community to make the festival about more than just watching a movie.

# # # ❤️ Pay It Forward

Want to bring someone who might not otherwise get to come?

You can purchase a **$5 ticket certificate** for a specific day of the festival and give it to a friend, neighbor, family member, coworker—or even a local church or business can purchase certificates to distribute in their community.

Each day's certificates are limited to the number of seats available in the theater, so we can spread attendance throughout the week and help keep any one showing from becoming overcrowded.

We also have **$7 Small Combo certificates**, good for **one small popcorn and one small fountain drink**. These can be used at **any time during the festival week**. Want to upgrade? You can make it a medium for just **$1 more** or a large for **$2 more**.

You can give someone a movie.
You can give someone popcorn.
Or you can simply give someone a reason to come together.

We're planning a **meet-and-greet with a representative from Good Harbor Blue**, along with a person connected with *Sit, Stay, Heal*—and, if everything comes together as planned, **the dog actor from the film!** 🐾

We don't have the exact meet-and-greet time nailed down yet, so stay tuned for more details.

There are several ways local businesses, organizations, churches, and individuals can get involved:

• **Friend of the Festival — $50–$99**
• **Festival Supporter — $100–$249**
• **Community Partner — $250–$499**
• **Show Sponsor — $500–$999**
• **Presenting Sponsor — $1,000+**

We also have opportunities to **sponsor an individual screening, sponsor popcorn, provide community tickets, or help pay it forward with tickets and concessions.**

Sponsors can receive recognition on festival materials, and screening/day sponsors can have an information table in the theater.

This festival started with a simple idea: **support a local Michigan film studio while giving our community a reason to come together.**

Now we'd like to make it something bigger.

**Bring your family. Invite a friend. Buy a ticket for someone else. Support a local business. Help a neighbor experience a movie.**

Let's make Origins something our whole community can be part of.

We have noticed quite a few people have mentioned they want to see The Odyssey next week. We want to point out that we have The Odyssey for one week only! It runs from this Friday (Aug. 21st) to next Thursday (Aug. 27th). Next Friday, we are starting Coyote vs. Acme...hope to see you soon!

Something BIG is coming to The Beaverton Gem...

We've been working on something a little different behind the scenes, and we're finally ready to give you a first look.

Five Days. Five Films. One BIG week at The Gem.

We're calling it ORIGINS: A Film Festival, and there's a bigger story behind why we're doing it.

This isn't just about bringing some great movies to Beaverton. It's about supporting a local film studio, bringing our community together, and giving local businesses and community members a chance to be part of something special.

And we're going to need some help to make it happen.

We're looking for local sponsors and community partners who want to help bring this week to life—and there are some pretty neat opportunities that come along with it.

We're not quite ready to reveal everything yet...

But the story starts here.
