The Midway Theater was constructed in 1916 by G.G. Burr. Louis Vogt, an attorney and businessman, was the major influence to it becoming a cultural center

We are working to reopen the 1916 Midway Theater in Burlington, Colorado. The historic downtown building is requiring a major renovation along with a digital movie system All your help through volunteering your time and pledging your support to the cause is invaluable to this community project.

For The Midway Theater, it started here.

A faded marquee. A vision for something better. And a community willing to make it happen.

“Drag Main For The Midway” became one of the very first events to rally support for restoring this historic theater in 2015. The turnout, excitement, and community spirit helped prove The Midway was worth saving.

Looking back now, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come together. ❤️

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3), The Midway Theater continues to rely on the generosity of our community to help preserve and operate this small-town treasure. If you would like to continue supporting The Midway, donations are always appreciated.
