RIP Stuart Gordon. It’s a sad day for sure, but we’ll always have “Re-Animator,” “From Beyond,” “The Pit and the Pendulum,” “Dagon,” “Dolls,” “Castle Freak,” etc.

Ok Ok, I admit. I'm struggling a bit to make a decision on the next Cinema Casualties movie. It's gonna be something holiday-related, I just can't figure out what.

I've already shown "Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2." I've already shown "Black Christmas." I couldn't show the original "Silent Night, Deadly Night" because...ya know...the last-minute threats of executive producers and such.

So that leaves us with a few options but I can't figure out what would work best.
We have:

Don't Open Til Christmas
Christmas Evil
To All A Good Night
Silent Night, Deadly Night 3 & 5 (part 4 really isn't holiday themed)
Jack Frost

Or, or...

since we have largely a new audience in regard to our audience back in 2015, we could go back to Black Christmas. I always wanted to avoid showing the same thing twice, but goddamnit I love that movie, and it HAS been three years.

Or, as a final option, if no one really cares either way we could just show a non-holiday horror flick.

Thoughts?

We are locked in now in terms of screening times for Cinema Casualties Presents: Lucio Fulci's "Cat in the Brain" at Main Street Landing Theater in Burlington! We are going to do an early screening at 7 PM and another late screening at 9:30. I am also working on getting a cash bar for the lobby, which would obviously be sweet. Also, keep your eyes open, because it looks like this won't be the last you'll see of Cinema Casualties at MSL! More details to follow...
