Movie Camera Militia!

Students were required to write, produce, edit and submit a 4- to 7-minute film within 48 hours. The project was sponsored by the student organization Movie Camera Militia, a group of SIUC film students formed in November 2010.

MCM is producing a 10 minute short entitled "Bits and Pieces," directed by Jon Robben. This comedy/drama involves a man at a crossroads in his life after a painful break up. In order to move forward, he must figure out what to do with his life: Become a businessman, or his follow his calling as a stand up comedian?

This project is currently moving into the post production stage, so if anyone is interested in helping/learning about that process, they are welcome to join us at MCM. One of our most cherished goals is to help teach as we create!

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the premiere! Red Creek was shown to a supportive crowd, and MCM got to show off all the hard work that went into that film! Thank you! We will keep you posted on new projects already underway by MCM!
