I’m seeing RED! ❤️

This throwback has us even more excited for what’s to come.

If everything goes as planned, Pawzilla will be welcoming his first litter in the near future, and we’re crossing our fingers for more beautiful red kittens. 🤞 It’s been far too long since we’ve had a litter of red babies!

There is never a dull moment when there are Maine C**n kittens around. 🐾

Every pillow has to be investigated, every corner has to be explored, and somehow the bed turns into the biggest adventure of the day. Watching their curiosity (and confidence!) grow a little more each day is one of our favorite parts of raising them.

This is probably one of the questions we’re asked most often, and the truth is… there isn’t a wrong answer.

Over the years, we’ve noticed some general personality differences, but every cat is an individual. In this video, I share which I would personally choose if personality was my priority, and which I’d recommend if your goal is to have the biggest Maine C**n possible.

Ask 10 different people what the “best” diet is, and you’ll probably get 10 different answers. Raw, kibble, canned, freeze-dried, cooked… there are so many options, and it can be hard to know what makes sense for your pets.

Over the next few weeks, we’re going to take you along on our journey as we dive into pet nutrition. We’ll be sharing what we’ve learned over the years, how we make our homemade raw food, why we feed what we do, and even trying out a new kibble that we’ve heard great things about for both cats and dogs.

We’re not here to tell you what you have to feed your pets. We just want to share what has worked for us, what we’re learning, and hopefully help make all of those choices a little less overwhelming.

🚨 Story time… 😂

One day we realized we hadn’t seen Indy in a while.

We called his name.
Nothing.

We shook the treat container.
Still nothing.

We searched every room, looked under beds, checked all of his favorite spots, and by this point we were starting to panic. We were convinced someone must have accidentally left a door open because we could not find him anywhere.

Then… we finally spotted him.

Sound asleep in the closet, completely buried in the clothes like he didn’t have a care in the world. 😹

Meanwhile, we were over here imagining the worst, and this little stinker was just enjoying his beauty sleep.

He was perfectly fine… just too much of a diva to answer when we were calling him. That pretty much sums up Indy😂💕

Something exciting is coming!

We’re getting ready to make another big batch of our homemade raw cat food, and this time we’re going to take you along for the entire process.

If you’ve ever wondered what goes into making a balanced raw diet, how long it takes, or why we choose to feed raw, you’ll get to see it all. Fair warning…it’s a LOT of work! Between sourcing the ingredients, weighing everything, grinding, mixing, portioning, and packaging, it’s definitely not a quick project.

So why do we do it?

For us, it’s because we believe the benefits are worth the effort. Many raw-fed cats experience:

🐾 Healthy skin and a beautiful coat
🐾 Smaller, less smelly stools
🐾 Excellent muscle condition
🐾 High moisture intake, which supports urinary health
🐾 A diet that’s made from fresh, whole ingredients we know and trust

Every cat is different, and we’re simply sharing what has worked well for ours. We know raw feeding isn’t for everyone, but we love educating people on how we do it and why we’ve chosen this path.
