Thanks to everyone who came out tonight to share the conversation with actor, author and devoted birder Lili Taylor. We were all riveted by her stories of remarkable encounters with birds and what they can tell us about the natural world we share. In discussion with Executive Director Mirissa Neff, she read passages from her book, "Turning to Birds" (now out in paperback) and recounted her own path to closely observing our feathered friends. Well, they aren’t all friends, it turns out. Hey, house sparrows: leave those bluebirds alone! (Read her book for more details.)
