ELVIS FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are invited to The Cricket Theatre in Collinsville this Saturday, Jan 27 at 6 o’clock. The Rev Shane Rodriquez will be performing all of your favorite Elvis songs!! Free Admission. Donations will be welcomed to help put heating and air in the building. Mr. Rodriquez is donating his performance to the Historical Association. The restoration has been long and drawn out because funds are not sufficient for a quick and fully restored building but it’s come a very long way. It’s just one step at a time and events like this that make it happen! Please share!!

STEEL MAGNOLIAS will be performed by Gadsden Theatre group on CRICKET STAGE in two weeks!! Can you believe it? A real play with real actors in OUR THEATRE! Performances will be 7:00 p.m. on Saturday March 11th and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday March 12th. Tickets will be $15.00 or $10.00 each for groups of ten. Collinsville Library is contact location for advance ticket sales. There is some seating available but you are encouraged to bring your favorite folding chair to insure comfort.

Of course proceeds go toward ongoing theatre renovation.

100 Years of Turkey Trot!

T-shirts are now available to celebrate this historic event. The shirts are available in pink, hunter green, red and rust. They will also be available in youth sizes.
The shirts will sell for $12 each and for every PINK shirt sold $1 will be given to fight breast cancer. You can order your shirt from any CHA member or you can contact Mitzi Hood Gidley. Order forms will be at several downtown merchant locations.
All proceeds go to the Cricket Theatre Fund --- and a portion to breast cancer for the pink ones.

Our Historic Art Deco theater opened in 1946 and over the years it has fallen into disrepair. The Collinsville Historic Association has purchased the Cricket and has done a good deal of volunteer clean up in and around it. Before we can do anything more we have to replace the roof. Please he...

YIPPEEE!!!

The roof has been repaired! No more water pouring into the theatre!

That is not to say that the whole roof has been done, but the worst place has been fixed and now the clean-out and clean-up can begin.
