Be Part of Cranford Theater History ✨
As we prepare to celebrate the Cranford Theater’s 100th Anniversary, we’re creating something truly special—and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Beginning Thursday, August 20, as we kick off our 100 Days to 100 Years celebration, we’ll begin collecting memories and keepsakes for our Centennial Time Capsule.
This time capsule will be sealed and buried during our 100th Anniversary celebration in November, preserving the stories of today’s community for future generations to discover.
We invite you to contribute something meaningful, such as:
🎬 A favorite memory of the Cranford Theater
❤️ A “Love Letter to the Theater” sharing what it means to you
📸 A photograph taken at the theater
✉️ A handwritten note or card
👨👩👧👦 A family memory or tradition connected to the movies
🎟️ A drawing, children’s artwork, or special keepsake (small items only)
Whether you’ve been coming here for decades, celebrated a birthday, had your first date, introduced your children to the magic of the movies, or simply enjoy escaping into a great film, your story is part of the Cranford Theater’s history.
Collection begins August 20 during our 100 Days to 100 Years celebration and will continue through the fall before the time capsule is sealed in November.
One hundred years ago, this theater became a gathering place for our community. Today, you have the opportunity to leave a message for those who will walk through these doors 100 years from now.
