"Story Time"

Last weekend was another good one, let's keep it up.

Today is our final Free Family Film Festival movie with FFFF SpongeBob SquarePants Search for SquarePants - Presented by Aspy's Tire and Thieme Tree Service. The movie starts at 10am. Doors open at 9:15am and concessions will be available for purchase.

It's hard to believe that the summer is rapidly coming to an end. 4H Fairs all around the area are winding down, Swiss Days is this weekend, and fall festivals are starting up. BUT...our summer Blockbuster lineup is still going strong!

Starting this weekend is the much requested Young Washington. We have had hundreds of messages and calls about this one and are super excited to bring it to you! Sorry we were not able to get it when it opened, but it's here now. If you have seen it already, you can watch it again! I am sure you missed some parts or could use a refresher on history.

Speaking of things just heating up in the movie industry, coming in the next few weeks we will have Spider-Man: Brand New Day PREMIEREING next weekend, Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie, and Coyote vs. Acme. We hope to be able to squeeze in Elijah Peel...All this in the month of August! Carve out a couple hours now in your calendar to see these great movies on the Big Screen. You will be glad you did.

As the summer winds down it's always bitter sweet as our college kids and recent high school graduates head out into the world! We thank those that came back to cover some shifts this summer (Leyna, Hayden H. & Harry) and wish good luck to those heading to college for the first time (Brianna, Hayden W & Lela). Luckily these folks like us so much that you'll probably still see them around the Cinema for long weekends and breaks!

It's Tuesday again! This is our final Free Family Film Festival sponsor spotlight for 2026. It's crazy that we're here already, but summer is winding down...it's 4H Fair week, Swiss Days is around the corner, and fall sports practices officially start in a few weeks!

Tomorrow is FFFF SpongeBob SquarePants Search for SquarePants - Presented by Aspy's Tire and Thieme Tree Service

Doors open at 9:15am, movie starts at 10am. Admission is FREE and concessions are available for purchase.

Aspy's Best-One Tire & Auto Care (formerly Aspy Tire) was established in 1954 in Hoagland IN. We offer a wide variety of tire and automotive services along with regular vehicle maintenance all at very competitive prices. The business is currently under its 3rd generation of ownership by the Aspy family (Stu and Natalie Aspy). As residents of Decatur we are more than honored to support other small businesses and the residents of the Decatur area as a whole. Come on out and check out the movie!

Thank you to everyone who went to enjoy the Decatur-Adams County Parks and Recreation pool yesterday! We hope you all had a great time!

If you're worried about the heat and air quality, we have the perfect solution...a trip to the movies! We'll keep you nice and cool and the only "air quality" ossue we have is if you don't like the smell of fresh, buttery popcorn!

We are super excited the pool is open and hours are extended! Today from Noon-8pm the first 400 people can enjoy a day at the pool on us! Please support the pool by purchasing a concession item or 2 while you're there!

The Decatur city pool will be back up and running tomorrow (7/16/26)! ABCINEMA, ABC Real Estate and Travel, Corey Affolder and Barb Affolder are generosly paying for the first 400 people to get in the pool for free tomorrow! Water is at 86 degrees! We are extending our hours tomorrow from noon till 8pm!! Hope to see you all there
