Cape Cinema Opened in 1930, We’re a Non-Profit Art House Cinema that held the World Premiere of the Wizard of Oz. We are proud to be 100% locally and independently owned.

This page will keep you updated on any and all events happening at The Cape Cinema. In addition to showing independent, art, and foreign films, the Cape Cinema also has live HD broadcasts of the Metropolitan Opera, The National Theatre Live from London, and The Bolshoi Ballet live from Moscow. We also host community sponsored and produced events throughout the year. In the summer, the Cape Cinema

has become a well known venue for national and international indie rock music sensations to perform live on stage during their American tours. We are not affiliated with any other movie theater. Come visit us and check out our beautiful movie house. We hope to see you soon!
