Today, the process started on getting the Lyric a new roof! Despite that, the show must go on for Thursday's streaming of the Trojan away playoff game at Kimball 💪. Game starts at 7pm and doors open at 6:30pm. We've confirmed a great platform to stream the playoff game.

Additionally, we are happy to announce that we were able to donate the rock from our old roof to the City of Faulkton for any future projects.

If you can't make the road game, we hope to see you Thursday at the Lyric. Go Trojans!!!!

Just a reminder about our Saturday only movie Thread Bound, filmed locally in Aberdeen! Showtime is at 4:30pm, doors open at 4pm for concessions. Here's a synopsis of the movie, along with the official trailer: Ellie and Sam share an instant connection - she's searching for something to believe in, and he's a mysterious boy with the power to heal. But when tragedy strikes, Ellie's faith is tested, and she must find the courage to believe… even when all hope seems lost. As they journey to unravel the painful threads of their past, they uncover the quiet, unexpected grace of miracles - and how sometimes the strongest bonds are the ones we can't see.

In collaboration with the Art and Craft Fair, we will show our special film for one night only on Saturday 10/17! After you have a chance to support the fair, swing on by and take supporting local to the next level with our 4:30pm showing of Thread Bound!!!

Here's what on tap at the Lyric Theatre for the rest of October:

We will stream the remaining Trojan away football game vs North Central on Friday 10/9. We are also adding the away volleyball match vs Wolsey-Wellington on Tuesday 10/27.

On Saturday 10/17, in partnership with the Faulkton Area Art Council, we will show locally filmed Thread Bound at 4:30pm. This one night only showing will take place after the Arts and Crafts Festival ends at 4pm. Thread Bound was shot primarily in South Dakota, with about 90% filmed around Aberdeen.

Lastly, Trunk or Treat will be on Court Street from 1 to 3pm this year and the Lyric is joining in! We'll have It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown at 12:30 to get a head start on the fun and then show the movie Casper afterwards at 3:30pm.

We look forward to seeing everyone for these final events as we wind down for the season. We really appreciate everyone's support and thanks for coming out to the movies!!!!
