The pickle party starts this weekend and runs for 3 big weekends(plus weeknights May 25-28) with may extras.

Not only do we have all things pickles, but fun event extras tied in for all of our events including collectible merch(Top Gun, Mortal Kombat 2, Mandalorian & Grogu), photo ops(Star Wars, Twister, etc), themed food and drink specials for all movies/event weekends and plenty to enjoy for all ages and tastes with the movies.

So get excited for picklefest and big events to wrap up the month of May before we jump into our 7 nights a week season this June with big laughs and incredible action for movies and events coming this summer.

Tickets on sale for some movies, others coming soon(once we get permission to sell tickets).

Going back to where it all started, the 2026 Chilly Dilly Picklefest returns this weekend Friday and Saturday to kick off the 3 weekends of pickle party at the Harvest Moon!

Plus collectibles for the movies, specials and extras, but that’s not all!

Picklefest means- Picklefest bombs, pickle fries, fried pickle chips, 20 different kinds of pickles, pickle drinks, candy, slushies and more!

Pickle photo ops, merch, the giant pickle jar, and more.

We’re number 1, we’re number 1…..wait….

We’re number 1 for tornadoes?!?!

Unfortunately it’s true and the weather is getting more interesting year over year.

While we hate seeing the destruction and damage these storms cause, we do love seeing Twister 🌪️ on the big screen and you can relive every line and moment with our Twister and Twisters double feature weekend May 29-31 as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original in 2026!

The National Weather Service released quality controlled data showing the official confirmed tornado count in Illinois is 109 for 2026. That puts us in #1, and not far from more than #2 and #3 combined.

Open since 1954, Harvest Moon Twin Drive-In Theatre is a fixture in central Illinois. In addition to the drive-in and concession stand food like hamburgers and hot dogs, the venue is home to a regular roster of events including Easter egg hunts, kids carnivals, and retro luaus.
