It is with heavy hearts and a touch of holiday disappointment that we must announce we will be closing our Christmas tree lot this season.
The county had initially informed us that we could legally operate a tree lot at our home a year ago, and we were excited to bring the holiday cheer to our community. However, when I followed up with them this year to confirm, they added an unexpected caveat: the trees must be grown on our property. Needless to say, had we known this earlier, we would have found a different location months ago.
After speaking with our neighbors, we learned that some were concerned about the extra traffic on our road. In the spirit of maintaining good relationships and respecting their privacy, we have made the difficult decision to close the lot for this year. Please know this was not an easy choice for us—this season has always been so special to our family, and we cherish the joy of sharing it with all of you.
I take full responsibility for not confirming all the details sooner. There is no one to blame but myself, and I truly apologize to our loyal customers who were looking forward to another year of tree shopping with us. We love being part of your holiday traditions, and this decision breaks our hearts.
For those of you still wishing to purchase one of our trees, we have already cut them and will be selling them wholesale to Green Acres in Roseville. It’s a bit of a drive, I know, but if you're set on one of our trees, this is where you'll find them.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to hopefully seeing you all again next year, with everything in place. Wishing you all a merry and bright holiday season, no matter where you find your tree this year.
