📍 SP Hudson Park | Grove Hill, Alabama

We’re thrilled to invite the community to an America 250 Kickoff Celebration—an evening dedicated to hometown pride, family fun, and coming together to celebrate this historic milestone!

We cannot be more excited to see how the partnership between our amazing public library and this newly created position with the City!

The Town of Grove Hill is proud to welcome Stephanie Daniels Strength as the new Director of Parks & Recreation.

Stephanie brings a diverse background in education, coaching, fitness leadership, sales, and marketing, along with a strong passion for community involvement and wellness. Her professional experience includes teaching and coaching, gym management, community fitness leadership, and marketing and promotional work focused on community engagement and outreach.

A longtime advocate for health and wellness in the community, Stephanie previously served as President and member of the Tombigbee Running Club during its existence and has remained actively involved in encouraging fitness and recreational opportunities for all ages.

Stephanie’s combination of leadership, creativity, organizational skills, and community-centered vision will support the continued growth and development of parks, recreation programs, youth activities, and wellness initiatives throughout Grove Hill.

When asked about stepping into the role, Stephanie shared:

“I’m incredibly honored and excited for the opportunity to serve the Town of Grove Hill as Parks & Recreation Director. I believe parks and recreation are about so much more than facilities and events — they’re about building community, promoting health and wellness, creating opportunities for young people and families, and giving people reasons to stay, return, and invest in our town. I’m looking forward to learning, growing, and working alongside our community to continue building programs and experiences that make Grove Hill a place people are proud to call home.”

Please join us in welcoming Stephanie as she begins this exciting new chapter with the Town of Grove Hill Parks & Recreation Department.
