To our community,

We hear and understand the frustration many of you have expressed recently. Please know that every member of our Board of Directors is deeply invested in this community as a fellow CAC member, volunteer, and donor. We absolutely share your passion for this organization.

Out of respect for privacy, and in accordance with our legal and ethical obligations regarding personnel matters, we cannot publicly discuss the specific details of any individual's departure. Mr. Skolnick has been fully informed of the reasons for his separation from the organization and is free to share that information with the public if he chooses.

We want to emphasize that this conclusion was not reached by the Board in isolation. Following exhaustive deliberation, which included extensive counsel and advice from our independent HR company, we firmly believe this was the only responsible course of action for the future of CAC.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we would like to address the departure of Dylan Skolnick from his role as Co-Director.

Board Chair Matthew Daidola stated, "Members of this Board of Directors take their fiduciary and stewardship responsibilities seriously. The organization's best interests will always be put first. With that, the Cinema parted ways with Mr. Skolnick after discovering and communicating to him what it believed to be, and continues to believe was, serious misconduct. This was a difficult decision given the family's history, but please keep in mind that major Board decisions like this are not made hastily."

Former Cinema Arts Centre Board Co-Chair and longtime Cinema supporter Michael Kornfeld will serve as interim Co-Director alongside Co-Director Kelsie Greene during this transition.

“Cinema Arts Centre is committed to fostering a community based on cultural programming and artistic expression,” said continuing Co-Director Kelsie Greene. “We understand that major changes in leadership can cause uncertainty. I want our community to know that I will continue to preserve the mission of Cinema Arts Centre in my ongoing role as Co-Director."

CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. CatVideoFest is a joyous communal experience, only available in theaters, and raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area. A percentage of the proceeds from each event go to local animal shelters.

Filmed on Long Island and set in the community that gives the film its name, WESTHAMPTON stars Finn Wittrock and RJ Mitte in a haunting story about memory, regret, and returning to the place you once called home.
