We’re currently casting a major role in the A24 feature film "The Drama", written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli and starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson. We are conducting a US national search to find someone between the ages of 13 to 17 (or someone who looks that age) who can play young Zendaya.
We are open to casting anyone nationwide. If cast, all travel and accommodations for you (and your guardian if you are under 18) will be fully covered. No acting experience is required!
Kristoffer Borgli is best known for his critically-acclaimed films "Dream Scenario", starring Nicolas Cage, and Cannes favorite "Sick of Myself." This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a renowned director and A-list actors.
His latest film, "The Drama", involves a couple whose romance changes dramatically before their big day. The role we are casting is for the younger version of Zendaya's character, who is heavily featured and shown in flashbacks.
We are looking for:
YOUNG EMMA - 13 to 17 years old, Mixed Ethnicity girl of Black and caucasian heritage. Must bear a strong resemblance to Zendaya.
**Preference given to those who are under 21 as we are trying to authentically cast someone who is close to or is the age of the character.**
Whoever is cast will be shooting a few days total, some in late fall and a few in early 2025. There will be an on set tutor for anyone under 18 to make up for any missed school days.

Talent Rate / You will be paid:
If on a weekly schedule - $4,180 per week (+10% if with agency)
If on a daily schedule - $1,204 per day (+10% if with agency)
Travel: All travel and accommodations fully covered for the actor that is cast (and their guardian if they are under 18).
