State Theater Family, we are heartbroken to have to share with you that our nonprofit foundation will no longer be moving forward with the revitalization effort of the historic State Theater of Johnstown.

We are saddened to announce this on the eve of the Theater's 99th birthday. 💔

Our team spent the day helping beautify downtown! Ourselves and other local businesses joined Discover Downtown Johnstown Partnership and Johnstown's Vision Together 2025 to participate in a day of spring cleaning 🌸

We planted new flowers, swept the winter salts up, and cleaned the windows (check out that before and after pic 👀)

We loved giving our beautiful theater some TLC ❤️

The partnership between Balance Restaurant, The Vault on Main, and The State Theater of Johnstown cultivates a culinary film experience unlike any other in the area — you have two chances to join us for laughs, love, and libations! Friday, February 7th, 2025 and Saturday, February 8th, 2025 — doors and bar open at 6:30pm and the film and meal begin at 7:00 pm both nights. A curated cash bar will be available throughout the night featuring drinks named after movie scenes along with standard bar options.
