Cine' Art In recent years, the film industry has reported a great increase in interest by movie goers for independent movies.

Art and Independent movie enthusiasts now will have the opportunity to view the latest film releases of that genre at Kearney's Hilltop 4 Cinema located inside the Hilltop Mall. Typically, these cinema attractions have a smaller national release meaning fewer film buffs have the opportunity to see them on the wide screen prior to DVD sales. Yet, many of those movies often receive international cri

tical acclaim despite the limited opportunities to see them. "My Greek Wedding" and Midnight in Paris" are just two art films that became international hits despite their initial limited release. Beginning this Friday, 9/16, The Hilltop 4 is allocating one of their screens strictly for art film attractions. "Cine' Art" will feature the latest opportunity for area moviegoers to watch acclaimed movie titles not normally available to Kearney and its surrounding market region. Normally, only larger markets are able to attract such film titles. "We have received a tremendous amount of encouragement from our customers requesting such movies. The demographic make-up of the market along with UNK students, faculty and area film buffs indicates there exists a great opportunity for Cine' Art features at The Hilltop", stated Bobby Wilson; Regional Theatre Director for Pollack Cinema including the co-owned Kearney Cinema 8. The Hilltop's other 3 screens will continue to show recent movie titles at popular discounted prices. Cine' Art will kick off the art film series this weekend with "Midnight In Paris".
