🇺🇸 An Invitation to Our Local Veterans 🇺🇸
This Veterans Day, Cub Scout Pack 402 would be honored to have our local veterans and their families join us for a special American Flag Retirement Ceremony.
As Scouts, we teach our children the importance of respecting our nation’s flag and remembering the sacrifices made by those who have served beneath it. We hope you’ll join us as our Scouts respectfully retire American flags that have become worn and unfit for display.
❤️ To our veterans: We would especially love to have you with us as our guests of honor!
📅 Wednesday, November 11th
🕖 7:00 PM
📍 The Macon Drive-In | Lafayette, TN
One of our biggest goals in planning this ceremony was making sure our veterans could comfortably attend. Thanks to the generosity of the Macon Drive-In, anyone who would prefer to remain in their vehicle is welcome to do so and observe the ceremony from there. Guests are also welcome to gather outside.
🍔 Come early and grab a bite to eat!
The Macon Drive-In has graciously offered to open their concession stand for the evening! Food and drinks will be available for purchase beginning at 5:30 PM, with service pausing during the ceremony and resuming afterward until approximately 8:30 PM.
We are so grateful to the folks at the Macon Drive-In for allowing us to use their property, and we’d love to show our appreciation by supporting their business!
🇺🇸 The ceremony itself is completely free and open to the public.
We welcome our entire community to join us for an evening of reflection, gratitude, and respect.
To those who have served our country, it would be our privilege to have you there. ❤️🤍💙
Please help us spread the word so we can reach as many of our local veterans as possible!
