The transition back to school can bring a variety of thoughts and feelings for children and teens. While some may be excited, others may be carrying worries they haven't shared yet.
Taking a few moments to check in, listen, and offer support can help children feel more prepared for the changes ahead.
Every child benefits from knowing they have a safe place to talk about what they're experiencing.

What inspired Natasha to become a therapist?

For Natasha, the journey began in nursing, where she discovered a passion for helping people heal. But it was her own experiences with life's challenges and the support she found in therapy that led her to this profession.

Seeing firsthand how therapy can foster growth, along with witnessing loved ones navigate their own struggles, reinforced the importance of compassionate support and genuine human connection.

Today, Natasha is passionate about helping clients navigate life's obstacles, build resilience, and create a life they feel proud of. She believes healing is possible when people have a safe space to grow, process, and move forward with confidence. πŸ’™

What boundary would make your life feel just a little lighter right now?

Boundaries don't have to be big to make a meaningful difference. A small change in how you protect your time, energy, or emotional well-being can have a lasting impact.

As you journal, consider:
β€’ Where do you feel stretched too thin?
β€’ What have you been saying "yes" to when you really wanted to say "no"?
β€’ What is one boundary you could practice this week?

There isn't a perfect place to start. One small step is enough.🩡

Relationships are rewarding, but they're not without challenges.

Many couples experience communication difficulties, recurring conflict, emotional distance, or stress that affects their connection. These experiences are common and don't necessarily mean something is "wrong" with the relationship.

Recognizing challenges is often the first step toward addressing them. Whether through open conversations, intentional effort, or the support of a therapist, there are ways to strengthen your relationship and build a healthier connection.

Which of these challenges do you think couples face most often?🩡

What inspired Christy to become a therapist?

She recognized that so many people look successful on the outside while quietly carrying stress, pressure, and emotional exhaustion on the inside. They are often the ones everyone else depends on, yet they rarely have a space where they can be completely honest.

Christy believes everyone deserves one relationship where they don't have to perform, fix, or protect anyone else. Therapy offers that space. A place to slow down, feel seen, and simply be yourself.

Healing begins when we no longer feel like we have to carry everything alone. πŸ’™

As Men's Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, let's remember that awareness isn't meant to last just one month.

Every day is an opportunity to check in, listen without judgment, challenge the stigma surrounding mental health, and remind the men in our lives that asking for help is a sign of courage, not weakness.

Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, grief, burnout, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you don't have to carry it alone.

Let's continue making men's mental health a conversation that lasts all year long. πŸ’™

A gentle reminder: the relationship you have with yourself matters, too.
Take a moment to reflect on today's journal prompt and consider what it might feel like to speak to yourself with kindness, understanding, and compassion.

🎬 Therapist Favorite Show Series

This week, we're featuring Rozy! Some of her favorite shows include Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Master of None, and Insecure.

Rozy appreciates how these shows balance humor with meaningful explorations of life, relationships, and personal growth. Through relatable characters and real-life challenges, they offer thoughtful perspectives on experiences that are not always accurately represented on television. 🀍

What's a show that makes you laugh while also giving you something meaningful to reflect on? πŸ“Ί
