The indecision of the direction on designing an interesting chassis for this one led to it sitting around unistalled for quite some time.

Sometimes life presents itself with unexpected answers.

While playing around in CAD and listening to some music, an Iron Maiden song played. I was reminded of the storyline of Vaders suit and how it was specifically designed to cause Anakin unimaginable amounts of pain. The pain and agony fueled his anger and rage, thus crating a maelstrom of dark side energy. He experienced torture as a result of being confined in a suit that was, for all intent and purpose equivalent to a mid evil Iron Maiden.

Inspired immediately, work began on a chassis solution for the
Parks Sabers / Korbanth DV6 2.0

Aka Vaders ROTJ Stunt hilt

So, we decided to take a different approach this time aound. Rather than creating a typical chassis design for this project, we went with something rather unusual. As a result, we payed an artistic tribute to one of the most legendary metal bands of the 80’s.

A Golden Harvest v3 soundboard, diagonally mounted for a stealthy installation allowed for some extra room for accent pixels, a killkey charge port and some artistic freedom.

It’s finally time! Without further delay… GTP proudly announces the very first official non Ultmate Works lightsaber to accept UW Proffie & Asteria Hearts!

Presenting the Parks Sabers Korbanth Sabers, Costumes, Models and Props MPP2.0 !!! Installed with our own custom designed crystal chamber “Pre-Core” assembly and connector, two individually controlled pixel resin crystals, & side accent SMD LED’s that provide visible shine through from within the hilt. Spring loaded contact switches allow chassis separation while providing full control of features & effects.

Our new modular chassis solution in partneship with Maelstrom Order dubbed the Pre-Core connector, provides the ability to swap a single core with multiple hilts, thus expanding your collection far beyond the Ultimate Works product lineup! The included connector assembly that comes with the Pre-Core connector PCB can be used for either a more simplified installation or a higher end custom designed solution, like we did for the MPP2.0 can be used for a more bespoke design.

Parks/Korbanth MPP 2.0 update.

Activation and Aux Switch locations have been finalized and contacts have been installed. The chamber is aligned “keyed” using a notched slot in the chamber tip and a set screw located in the aluminum body that resides under the exterior chrome tube. This method provideds perfect alignment of the spring contacts and mating contact pads mounted on the interior chamber, making removal and installation effortless while allowing for full functionality of both switches. Dual 2mm accent LEDs have been installed to provide some shine through when installed.

A quick update on our Parks MPP project.

The SLS printed in PA12 Nylon chassis has finally arrived, and looks amazing!
Next step is plating the crystal chamber and wiring in our newly named pre-kits dubbed “Core Connect”.

This will be fully removable and ready to accept any UltimateWorks Asteria or Proffie Heart or our own custom solution that is in the works that will sport either a GHv3, GHv4 or Proffie and also work with the UltimateWorks lineup!

Stay tuned….. 2026 is going to be HUGE!

Hard at work getting the new “GTP!”
Pre-Kits assembled. Stay tuned they will go on sale on Etsey, very soon!

These are made and assembled using PCB’s made here in the good ‘ol U.S.A. 🇺🇸using RoHS “lead free” solder.

These come ready for installation! We are including the mounting assembly & screws, and the kit: made up of 4 different size diameter pieces that accommodate fitment for 25mm, 27mm, 29mm & 31mm internal diameter hilts when nested into one another!
