Yesterday was way too pretty to not get a pic of Leaky Momma in her prime 😍

The past couple of months have been so incredibly busy and I couldn’t thank you enough!!! I’ll be having some weird days and hours coming up:
-I will be CLOSED tomorrow, May 29th, for the kids last day of school!
-Only open Tuesday (6/2) & Wednesday (6/3) next week
-Closed June 4-15 (vacation)

If you need any cookies before my vacation, today, Tuesday & Wednesday are your days to get some!!

When I come back from vacation I’ll be open another one or two weeks before you’ll see some new faces and projects going on! I’ll keep you updated when I have more information but I just wanted to let you know!!!

Also, thank you so much for your kind words of comfort about Bubba. It’s been a hard and very weird week without her but the love definitely shows. Heaven truly gained a good one 🐶

After almost 12 years full of nothing but pure-lived life, Nyla “Bubba”, crossed over the rainbow bridge last week. Even up until her final hours, she was surrounded by family, hugs & kisses, story telling, love and prayers. Nyla gained her new name “Bubba” when Davis was just a year old and couldn’t say Nyla and it just kind of stuck with her. She started out as a big energy pup and grew into the fierce family protector we know today. The life she lived was nothing but a dream come true. She was a lover of running (her longest run was 14 miles with Travis), anything she could find in the trash, the water hose, tomato plants, abandoned dinner plates, playing fetch in the lake, camping, hiking, her “log”, Lucy (her first BFF, our guinea pig) and most importantly, her family.

Travis and I got Nyla when we had only been dating for 5 years. Honestly, it’s hard to remember what our relationship and lives were like without her. She has been through everything with us: from living in apartments, three houses, the bringing home of three babies (she always got a blanket with their smell beforehand), lake trips, camping trips, truck rides, endless summers, beginning of our careers, our wedding…literally everything.

She kept her puppy energy for about seven years and then began slowing down to relax, lay in the sun and fully enjoy life. During her last four years of life, she developed Panis in her eyes which caused her to go blind and her hips were not as strong as they once were (I feel that, Bubba) but that didn’t stop her. She still loved to play, have daily walks and relaxing in her chair while I drank my early morning coffee asking her how her night was (I’ll miss that the most). You will be missed by so many and loved for infinity.

I’ll be closed next Friday (5/29) for the last day of school and then opened the following week for two days then on vacation in the beginning of June and then back to normal for a week or two and then definitely some new hours and days after that BUT again, I’ll keep you posted!!

Did you know May is Water Safety Awareness Month?? Move swim lessons from optional to essential!!!

At some point in your life someone will tell you to enroll your child into swim lessons. It’s very important that you listen to that person. During the summer we are CONSTANTLY in the water whether it be at the lake, in the pool or on a vacation to the beach and water safety is always our NUMBER ONE priority. We are so thankful for to have been there for us the past couple of years to help our kiddos grow their confidence in and around the water! We have always heard others talking about the importance of swim lessons and we are so glad we listened to them 🏊‍♂️

Vital water safety tips:
- Practice makes perfect! -refresh your water safety and knowledge YEAR ROUND.
- Ditch the floaties! -check out coast guard-approved lifejackets instead.
- Play it cool and follow the rules! -review rules and hours before getting into the water, make sure lifeguards are present and know what to do when someone is in need of help.
- Picking the essentials! -find the brightest swimsuit possible!
- Designate a safer swimmer guard! -designate an adult “Safer Swimmer Guard” and be sure to change guardians every 30 minutes.

Just in case you needed a “fun” reason to stop by the store today..my girl, Fun Betty, is back to stay!!!! I’ve had SO MANY requests for her lately so I took that as a huge compliment and decided she needs a permanent place back on the menu!

Y’ALL. Did I just realize I haven’t done a post this week?! 😅 Talk about CRAZY but you did not disappoint! I’ve been slammed this week so THANK YOU!

Here’s an order going out today so y’all can see a bit of what I have in the case! I have limited supply today so if you’d like anything, come see me!!! I’ll be here till 2:00 or sold out! Y’all, Leaky Momma was showing off her beauty yesterday when I got to work! I mean, LOOK AT HER!!!

Thank you so much for all of the love, comments, messages and memories y’all shared on my last post 🩵 it was a big one and I’ve been super emotional but I know it’s the right thing to do. I read every single message and comment and OMG, you all really know how to make a momma feel loved!

I’ll keep all my mommas updated throughout this process so be looking for some update posts soon as the process moves on!

Also, just wanted to let you know that I almost sold out yesterday which is CrAzY because Tuesdays are always the day I have double the products because that’s when I have the most shipping orders! I can tell y’all missed Leaky Momma over spring break and she missed you too! I’ll have more of everything today but I’m already sold out of Raspberry Blondies! Maybe I’ll have another option of cookie this week though?! We’ll see!!

Hey, Mommas!!! This is probably the biggest post I’ve ever made so PLEASE READ! With SO MUCH consideration, I’m going to be selling Leaky Momma 🍪 As hard as that is to say, I’m excited to give someone else the opportunity to help spread sunshine during postpartum to moms when they need it the most ☀️

I literally think of Leaky Momma as one of my kids so even considering this decision was HARD. I created her, birthed her, raised her to be who she is today and now it’s time for her to go to college and see the rest of the world!

Things change when you least expect and right now my life is turning up a path that I need to listen to. With three kiddos ages 7, 5 & 3, it is time I reminisce in the chaos of these years 🤗

I am wanting this to be a complete turnkey operation so that someone can come in and just trade spots with me and keep Leaky Momma GROWING for all the mommas out there!! If you are interested or know someone who might be interested, just message me and I’ll send over all the deets!! Don’t worry, I’ll still be here until I find a buyer and will keep you all updated as the process progresses!

I’m excited but heartbroken as well so please know this decision did not come lightly (just ask my family & friends) but everything happens for a reason and there was definitely a reason God led me to create Leaky Momma.

The mommas I met, relationships I created, the tears, laughter, conversations and stories we’ve shared have literally gotten me this far so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for trusting in me and this small business and loving her just as much as I do! What we’ve built together is truly something magical 🪄
