The Litchfield Skyview opened its gates for the first time on June 29th, 1950 on historic Route 66. It is one of four remaining drive-in theaters still in operation along the route continually for the past 72 years and is the only one in Illinois on the Mother Road. The Litchfield Skyview is a member of the Route 66 Hall of Fame. We are open seasonally from April to October. We play movies every Friday and Saturday, rain or shine.
