The Litchfield Skyview opened its gates for the first time on June 29th, 1950 on historic Route 66. It is one of four remaining drive-in theaters still in operation along the route continually for the past 72 years and is the only one in Illinois on the Mother Road. The Litchfield Skyview is a member of the Route 66 Hall of Fame. We are open seasonally from April to October. We play movies every Friday and Saturday, rain or shine. 🔺HOW ABOUT ANOTHER SUNDAY NIGHT MOVIE??🔻

Come on out June 28th as we show the Sandlot at the Drive-In with captions in our ongoing Sunday movie series. This is an absolute classic that EVERYONE in the family can enjoy.....how many times have you heard - "You're killin me smalls" or "The kid is an L7 we**ie" or "Remember kid, there's heroes and there's legends. Heroes get remembered, but legends never die".

So make sure you put it down to head out to the RT66 Skyview Drive-In to catch this classic. It is a caption night so we'll be playing the movie with captions so more people can enjoy it!

Please join us this Friday May 29th for our Hallmark Healthcare of Carlinville sponsored movie event and Saturday May 30th.

Gates open at 6 and movie starts at dusk. This weekend we will be featuring “The Breadwinner” (2026) with co-feature “Joe Dirt”!

This weekend we will also be having our Mullet contest. Contest to be judged the 29th by, our sponsors, Hallmark Healthcare. Judges on the 30th TBD. The contest will start at 7:30, no late entries and no waiting!

We will also be having Jacob Clements there this Friday May 29th with his Joe Dirt replica car, ready for some great photo opportunities!
