WARAIRE BOSWELL, a Los Angeles based designer, established a loyal following by placing quality and functionality as the number one priority in every piece he produces over the last 14 years. Standing tall at 6’7”, Boswell developed his namesake brand out of necessity. Boswell began his career working for United Talent Agency and William Morris Agency, two of the most prestigious talent agencies i

n the industry. It was here that the agents took notice of Boswell’s unique combinations and attention to detail. Boswell’s work became so prevalent amongst his colleagues and associates he parted ways from the agency and began making custom menswear full-time. As his popularity increased amongst the agents, word spread to other agents their clients, professional athletes and socialites. While Mr. Boswell's roots are closely associated with established athletes, Boswell has vast experience dressing A-list celebrities for The Golden Globes, The ESPYs, The Grammys, MTV Music and Movie awards and tailoring for taste makers and industry insiders on a consistent basis. Boswell has been featured in the top men's fashion and lifestyle publications, websites, and blogs vital to the menswear industry. After a private battle, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of fashion designer, Waraire Boswell. Waraire was an enthusiastic father, a devoted husband, and a loyal son, who captured the friendships of many through his infectious personality and creative talents. Affectionately known as Boz, he is survived by his wife, Monica Boswell, and their two children, Miles and Mason, his mother, Ann Boswell, and his sister, Kasmin Boswell.

Known for his elevated tailoring and interpretations of “The Suit,” Waraire built his namesake brand on the foundations of craftsmanship, teamwork, and love through the lens of historical art. He spent a great deal of time focusing his creative efforts on building a strong fashion infrastructure in order to help other designers maximize their potential. He would often say, “Infrastructure starts with family, then becomes a legacy when you inject love into what you do.”

In the midst of his battle, Waraire never allowed the circumstances to deter his design mission of creating the perfect wardrobe for clients to feel their best in their best moments. “Creating the perfect suit is ironically similar to life,” Waraire would say. “Ironic because nothing in life is perfect, but similar because you can control how it fits you.”

While the family asks for privacy as they take the time to grieve, we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers. We will share updates regarding the memorial service at a later date.
