It’s been over a year since I’ve posted on here. Life gets crazy, especially with a little one.
I’ve decided that I want to document my progress for the newest project I’ll be working on. Stewart from Cunning Cross Stitch just released his newest Stitch Your Own Adventure and it’s The Hobbit themed!!!!!!!! Im SOOOOOO excited!!!!!!! The intro and frame JUST released today and so far the design is completely amazing!!!!!
So for a Stitch Your Own Adventure, it’s just like the Choose your own adventure books we all loved as kids 🥰 You get to choose different elements within the pattern to add to your piece. Today in the intro we learned our first adventure is designing our own hobbit hole. There’s a cute story that goes along with it and you get to choose where you want to go.
We get to choose the season (spring, summer, or fall), If we want there to be a party or not, what kind of material our hobbit house will be made of, what kind of door, windows, and porch we will have, if we want a chimney, and SO many more elements we can choose. It’s incredible the amount of thought and design went into this!
So far I’ve decided my tree will be a summer tree and the hobbits will be having a party. I also choose the cobblestone hobbit house. I haven’t decided on the rest yet.
I’ll be transferring the design into the cross stitch program I have so that I can organize it and fix it and work the pattern until I’m happy with it, and then I can print it out when I’m ready to start stitching it ❤️
