Joe started his journey doing stand-up and improv comedy in LA where he met a clown who convinced him he should go to Clown College. Graduated Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Clown College ’78 and went on to travel and perform with Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus for 3 years. He went on to teach at the Clown College for 3 years and also clowned at Magic Mountain and Circus World, Then in the late 80s, he became the Sea World Mime. In 89 he opened the Disney MGM studios as Frederick of the Hollywood Public Works (a Three Stooges style street show) and performed there for 27 years. During those 27 years, he performed in various plays (Godspell, Fantastiks, The Nerd, Rumors, Mystery of Edwin Drood, etc.), various special events (usually big Disney parties), a movie on Amazon Prime (Lester) and did atmospheric improv for Toho Entertainment in Japan several times. For the last several years he has been spending his summers performing atmospheric improv at Sterling Renaissance Festival and the rest of the year working for Cirque Dinner Theatre in Orlando.
