The Florida Film Festival has been named one of MovieMaker’s 50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee!

Every year, MovieMaker compiles this international list based on data provided by festivals, independent research, and attending the festivals in person. It’s an honor to be included in this year’s collection – thank you to MovieMaker Magazine, Florida Film Festival audiences, our amazing alumni filmmakers, and everyone in the FFF community for making this possible!

Congratulations to the winners of our 2026 Florida Film Festival Grand Jury Awards, Special Jury Awards, and Audience Awards! Out of over 160 films, these films took the top prizes from our enthusiastic audiences and esteemed jurors.

Thank you to everyone who attended the festival and placed your votes! From haunting dramas and intimate human moments, to dark comedy and lyrical celebrations of joy, these films—set in Ukraine, Iran, Germany, and more—offer a diverse portrait illuminating the delicate, complex textures of contemporary life worldwide.

International Shorts #2 screens Saturday, April 18 at 2PM and Sunday, April 19 at 6PM.

It’s about time we really get to know each other, and there’s no better way to accomplish that than with a trust exercise. FFF’s annual Secret Screening is happening Thursday, April 16 at 11:59pm!

What madness will we unleash this year? From Greasy Stranglers to an Iron Curtain Indiana Jones, our annual Secret Screening has seen possessed movie theaters, bizarro world cinema, a People’s Joker, a Good Boy, and more. You never know what 2026 will bring.

The biggest question we get all festival is “What will you show next?” As always, you won’t find out until we walk on stage to start the show.

Tickets are FREE, but you can only pick one up at the Enzian or Festival Box Office on April 16th. Don’t miss out on this legendary event.
