Today is one of those days filled with mixed emotions.
We’re exhausted. Excited. Proud. Grateful. And, if we’re being honest… a little heartbroken.
Tonight, the curtain falls on Evil Dead: The Musical at the Historic Mikadow Theatre.
What you see on stage is only a fraction of what went into this production. Countless hours of rehearsals, choreography, set construction, lighting, sound, costumes, special effects, gallons upon gallons of blood, and an incredible amount of heart were poured into bringing the bloodiest, and we think the best, musical of the summer to the Lakeshore.
To everyone who joined us: thank you. Thank you for laughing, screaming, cheering, getting splattered, and leaving with blood on your clothes and smiles on your faces. We hope you leave with memories that stick with you for years to come.
To our cast, crew, volunteers, and everyone behind the scenes: you created something truly special. This wasn’t just another production. It became a family.
There will be more shows. There will be more opening nights, more standing ovations, and more stories to tell.
But there will only ever be one Mikadow Theatre production of Evil Dead: The Musical - Summer 2026.
If you have tickets for today’s final performance, savor every moment. If you’ve already seen it, thank you for making this record-breaking run one we’ll never forget.
And if you don’t have tickets? Get them on our website www.mikadow.com or, if available you can get them at the door.
Now… let’s make this last performance the bloodiest one yet.
Sunday Jul 19 - 2pm doors, 3pm show.
❤️🩸🎭
Thank you for everything, Deadites. One last time… Hail to the King, baby.
