🦋 It’s hard not to smile when a butterfly chooses you.

A little flutter, a little unexpected landing on your shoulder—or even your head—and suddenly everyone around you is smiling too.

That’s just one of the experiences happening TODAY at the Pollinator & Native Plant Festival at Gorman Nature Center.

Come get up close with butterflies, discover the plants and habitats that help our pollinators thrive, meet local organizations doing the work, and learn a little something along the way. There’s plenty for kids, but judging by the smiles today, the grown-ups are enjoying it just as much. 🦋🌼

There’s still more to come today, including the Butterfly Count at 2:30 PM, when you can become a citizen scientist and help tally butterflies in the prairie.

Then come back after dark! At 9 PM, discover a whole different side of the pollinator world during Mothing: Nocturnal Pollinators.

Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is underway at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, and the weekend is packed with experiences happening on and off the track.

Ride your own motorcycle around Mid-Ohio during Lap for History. Watch the gravity-defying Wall of Death. Catch the Bikestyles Stunt Show. See incredible motorcycles at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Show. Experience motocross, road racing and more—or head out Saturday evening for the scenic Ashland Dinner Ride and vintage flat track racing.

Vintage motorcycles are taking over Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Shiloh is celebrating 60 years of its Shiloh Ox Roast. Christmas in July is bringing some holiday fun, Frights & Lights is taking over the The Ohio State Reformatory, there’s action at Mansfield Speedway, and larger-than-life glass butterflies are waiting at Kingwood Center Gardens. 🏍️🥩🎄👻🏁🦋

The holiday spirit arrives at Kleerview Christmas Trees farm this Saturday for an evening filled with family traditions, festive fun, and summertime magic.

Meet Mr. & Mrs. Claus, visit the reindeer, ride the wagon to the Christmas House, enjoy farm demonstrations, lawn games, food trucks, shopping, and cap off the night with fireworks.

For many families, Kleerview Farm is part of their Christmas tradition. This weekend, you can experience the farm in a whole new way and make a few summer memories along the way.
