Lots of sweet treats for your Saturday!
On the bakery counter: Mississippi mud cake, Jack’s giant chocolate chip cookies, giant pecan chocolate chip cookies, giant s’mores cookies, gooey butter cake (regular and chocolate), cosmic brownies, giant peanut butter cookies, oatmeal cream pies, chocolate rolls, Oreo and vanilla bean cake pops, pecan brownies, chocolate whoopie pies, Dubai brownies, blueberry crumb cake, and pecan pie brownies.
There’s banana pudding, peanut butter pie, and new today- lemon icebox pie, mini Oreo cheesecakes, and blueberry mini cheesecakes in the cooler! Sue’s blackberry cobbler sundae, the Biscoff sundae, and the Dubai sundae are on the specials board! Come see us; we’re here until 9 pm!

What a night! The smiles, the laughter, the music, the memories...it was a magical night! Thank you to everyone that came out to celebrate with us! A huge thank you to the volunteers that make events like this possible! They show up willing to help; we couldn't do it without them! Thank you to Petit Jean Electric and Fiber; the partnership between the Kenda and Petit Jean started on day 1 and continues today! Thank you to RidgeBorn for making our celebration a little more special; Mom would have been so happy for one of her "Ragland boys" to be playing on the lawn! Thank you to the Kenda crew; they worked extra hard to allow me time to mingle and enjoy the night! My crew is the absolute best! We're looking forward to many more years of family fun at the Kenda!

60 years-1 family-4 generations

Tomorrow is our big day! No entries in the drawing today; I'm still catching up getting all the names in the drawing! We will be drawing for the winner tomorrow evening and I will announce live at the event and on Facebook (may be late!).
We have lots planned pre-movie for Thursday night! Remember that RidgeBorn takes the stage at 6:30 pm and we hope some of you will have your dancing shoes on! Games (relay races, three legged race, water balloon toss) on the lawn in front of the screen will start at 7 pm! A scavenger hunt, starting at 8 pm, will test your Kenda knowledge! Back to the Future starts at 8:45 pm! Admission and all games/activities are free! Our full concession will be available but the prices of hotdogs, small drinks, and small popcorn-the original snacks from 1966-will roll back to 25 cents! Mammaw's Place will be open as well with ice cream, shaved ice, and baked goods as well as Kenda merch including our 60th anniversary shirts!

Another great double for you this weekend! Double feature Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (7/24-7/26): Moana (Live Action) (PG) & Toy Story 5 (PG). Moana will play as a single feature on Monday, July 27. Toy Story 5 will play as a single feature on Tuesday, July 28. The boxoffice will open at 7 pm on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, 7:30 pm on Monday & Tuesday and the movie will start at 8:45 pm all nights. We have some really cool metal Moana popcorn buckets and will have special Moana drinks! Admission is $6 for ages 12 and up, $2 for ages 6-11, under 6 are free. We have two ways to get your favorite show food! Order online at order.kendadrivein.com or place your order at our walk-up window. Remember we are cash or check only! Mammaw's Place will be open with hand dipped ice cream, shaved ice, baked goods, and Kenda merch! Don't forget our 60th Anniversary Celebration, Thursday, July 23! Marshall People! I need your help! Marshall/Searcy County is fortunate to have the IRT Medical Mission here providing free healthcare to our residents. We are having a private showing at the drive-in Wednesday night for the military personnel involved in this mission. If you have lawn chairs (bag chairs would be great) that we could borrow for tomorrow night, we would really appreciate it! Be sure to label your chairs with your name; you can drop them off anytime tomorrow and pick them up on Thursday! Text me at 870-504-3081 if you have any questions!
