HORRORFEST XII is coming! Four creepy movies all for our usual low admission price on both Friday and Saturday, September 18th & 19th! The witches of PRACTICAL MAGIC 2 will stick around as the first feature for this year's season finale, followed by three R-rated horror flicks - very likely the surreal and twisted BUDDY and the grisly and terrifying EVIL DEAD BURN, along with a fourth unnerving feature. We'll have final confirmation on this year's blood-curdling lineup later this week. Thanks again, we love you, and we sure hope to see you one more time before this terrific season comes to a close!

Normally nodding off on the job is frowned upon, but we'll give Aiden a pass since it was his first Dusk to Dawn. 😂 (This photo is not staged.) SATURDAY NIGHT OF DUSK TO DAWN '26 IS IN THE BOOKS! WE DO IT ALL AGAIN TONIGHT! Thank you to Nick, Aiden, and Keaton for staying late, and to our entire dedicated staff who work so hard to deliver fun, food, and memorable nights to Central New York. You guys are the greatest! And a HUGE thanks to Heidi of Heidi Ho Donuts for her delicious donuts that sold out quick! Today she somehow managed to whip us up another FIVE DOZEN of her famous maple glazed donuts for tonight's show, while running her sweet little shop at 137 East Bridge Street in Oswego during a very busy weekend. IMPORTANT UPDATE ON THE REMAINDER OF OUR SEASON

Pixar's CARS (20th anniversary re-release) and COYOTE VS. ACME will be our last all-ages movies of the season. After Labor Day weekend, we'll be open for two more weekends; Fridays and Saturdays only.

On the weekend of September 11th, we premiere the long-awaited sequel PRACTICAL MAGIC 2 starring Oscar winners Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. It will play with the riveting hit sci-fi dinosaur adventure THE END OF OAK STREET, from producer JJ Abrams and starring Oscar winner Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor. Then on the weekend of September 18th the witches of PRACTICAL MAGIC 2 stick around to anchor our end-of-season HORRORFEST XII, that will also feature EVIL DEAD BURN, the twisted horror BUDDY (very likely but pending confirmation), and a fourth scary movie still to be determined.

Our family continues to confront serious health issues so we must end the season early, yet again. Autumn is beautiful at the Midway, and in the future we hope to return to extending our seasons well into October. We sincerely appreciate your understanding. It's been a great, fun-filled year at the Midway, and we hope you can join us for the terrific shows we have lined up to close the book on our 78th consecutive season. Thank you so much for your continued support and loyalty. We couldn't do this without YOU!

The grassy area beneath and in front of the screen along with rows 1, 2, & 3 are now non-smoking. Smoking is permitted next to the projection booth. We strongly encourage smokers throughout the lot to step away from their neighbors to limit sidestream smoke exposure. Even though we are an outdoor theater, smoke (like voices) travels much farther than many realize.

Please always watch your step on the lot. We suggest using a phone/flash light to point at the ground while walking in the dark.

We offer a wide-variety of delicious food and drink in our concession stand. Have dinner with us! Everything we serve is highest-quality, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced. Your support in our snack bar is the best way you can help ensure the future of the Midway, as the film studios take at least half of each ticket we sell.

Please secure hatches down to roof level to lessen obstruction of the screen for the patrons behind you. Bungee cords and ratchet straps work well for this, and we have twine available for no charge at the projection booth.

The marked spots at the six posts closest to the snack bar in rows 3, 4, and 5 are reserved for handicapped parking.

We broadcast the soundtrack at 87.9FM. Tune in upon entrance for helpful hints and great tunes. The superior sound is through your car stereo. The soundtrack sounds terrific and you control the volume. If you prefer to sit outside or not to use your car stereo, we implore you to bring along your own portable FM radio or boombox. Many online stores sell FM radios. Apologies, we do not have an app for the soundtrack. Vehicles with digital tuners may experience a slight delay in the soundtrack. Our limited loaner radios go fast.

A quick start of your engine for a minute or two, every hour or so, is a good idea to keep your battery strong. Usually, when vehicles need jumps, lights or defogger fans have been on. It's a good idea to run your vehicle when you're running those fans. If you need a jump it's no problem, no charge! Just come to the projection booth if you need any help whatsoever.

Our sincere apologies, due to a server issue we are still unable to offer our traditional Sunday night open-captioning.
