Top o’ the evening to ya, mystery lovers! The infamous DuPre’ crew and their friends from Murder at Mardi Gras, Murder at the Mardi Gras Ball, and Who Killed the Boss at the Christmas Party are at it again!

This time, they’ve traded the jazz and jambalaya for the peaceful rolling green hills of Ireland, where the land itself seems to hum with ancient magic. Hoping for a little R&R, the crew packed their bags and jetted off to County Cork, a place where emerald pastures stretch as far as the eye can see, dotted with grazing sheep and crumbling castle ruins whispering secrets of the past. They were determined to keep the peace and soak in the hospitality of the Irish, where a friendly pub and a lively tune are never far away. And for a while, it seemed like they might actually pull it off!

Now, on the final night of their trip, they’re celebrating at The Jig and Jug Irish Pub, raising their glasses to a drama-free vacation. The Guinness is flowing, the fiddle is playing, and the warm glow of candlelight flickers against dark wood and stained glass. Just as they’re about to toast to their success… a scream echoes from the apartment above the pub!

So much for a quiet getaway. Once again, someone didn’t make it out alive. Why does trouble follow this group like a leprechaun guarding his gold? Will they ever get through a party without someone dropping dead? Join us for a night of mystery, laughter, and maybe even a little detective work—because someone’s got to solve this crime before last call!

MURDER AT MOONSHINE'S RAID - The Mystery
Moonshine’s owner, Mickey “Moonshine” Marcelo, has a serious problem. A man named Daryl Oats, owner of the Hauling Oats Feed Store, has been found dead in Moonshine’s storeroom.
Normally that would mean calling the police…
…but with Prohibition in full swing, the last thing Moonshine wants is the authorities snooping around his establishment.
So before the copperss arrive, he secretly assembles a group of investigators to help solve the crime.
That’s where you come in.
Guests will interview the suspects, examine the clues, and attempt to determine whodunnit before the police show up.
But beware…
Everyone has a motive.
Everyone has a secret.
And someone in the room is lying.

The Suspects You’ll Be Investigating

Mickey “Moonshine” Marcelo – Ray Stiles
Owner of Moonshine’s Speakeasy, is a man who prides himself on running a lively establishment… discreetly. Mickey believes in providing “what the public needs,” especially during Prohibition. A murder in his place of business is very bad for business, so he is determined to solve the crime before the police begin asking questions. A man named Daryl Oats, owner of the Hauling Oats Feed Store, has been found dead in Moonshine’s storeroom. Normally that would mean calling the police… …but with Prohibition in full swing, the last thing Moonshine wants is the authorities snooping around his establishment. So before the coppers arrive, he secretly assembles a group of investigators to help solve the crime.

Anna Sassine – Mimi Bryant
A mysterious woman from New York who has recently begun spending a great deal of time at Moonshine’s. She enjoys the cocktails — especially vodka — and carries herself with the confidence of someone used to getting her way. Some say she comes from a rather notorious family with powerful connections.

Allie Kat – Frances Hensen
A fiery and glamorous lady of the night who once lived quite comfortably under the protection of Daryl Oats. But when a new woman entered the picture, Allie suddenly found herself pushed aside. Since then, she has made no secret of her anger… and revenge has been mentioned more than once.

Royal T. Flusch – Doug Bryant
By day, Royal sells women’s shoes at J.C. Penney. By night, he considers himself a high-stakes poker player and professional gambler… though his luck at the card table often runs cold. Rumor has it he owes Daryl Oats a rather substantial gambling debt.

Buck “Muggs” Shott – John Pastuszek
A tough businessman who supplies spirits to many of the area’s speakeasies. Muggs has helped keep Moonshine’s establishment stocked for years and takes great pride in his connections. When word spread that Daryl Oats had begun brewing his own liquor nearby, some say Muggs was not particularly pleased about the new competition.

Each of these suspects has a motive…but only one of them is the murderer.

Speakeasy Rules for the Evening
• Keep one eye on the door for the coppers
• Don’t trust anyone too quickly
• Pay attention to the clues
• And remember… someone in the room may be a murderer

Event Details
Guests are welcome to arrive early and enjoy cocktails from the bar before dinner and the start of the mystery.

The Detective Table Challenge
Bring a table of friends and see who among you has the sharpest detective skills.

Many guests enjoy attending as a group and comparing notes while they investigate the suspects. By the end of the evening, you may discover that the real mystery isn’t who committed the murder……it’s who at your table completely missed the obvious clues.

Seating is limited and tickets will not be sold at the door.

Reservations will be handled through The Admiral Hotel.

Reservation information will be announced soon.

Early reservations are strongly recommended, as these mystery dinner events often sell out quickly.

Don’t Miss This Evening

Join us for an unforgettable night filled with

• Mystery
• Comedy
• Delicious Food
• Roaring Twenties Fun
At Moonshine’s Speakeasy the drinks may be illegal…
the secrets may be dangerous…
and someone in the room may be a murderer.
