Opening This Week: It's been 13 years since the last Scary Movie opened, I think the world has gotten just stupid enough for a new one. Returning cast members Anna Farris (Cindy), Regina Hall (Brenda), and Marlon & Damon Wayans are bringing back the horror movie/pop culture parodies that have served these wonderful idiots well since 2000. Grab your popcorn & nachos, turn off your brain, and have a great time. Scary Movie 6 starts Thursday.

Also New This Week: Masters of the Universe, based on the He-Man properties of the 1980s, has been given the big-budget, big screen treatment. Starring Nicholas Galitzine (Cinderella, Red, White, and Royally Blue) as Prince Adam, aka He-Man, who, from what I understand, does indeed HAVE THE POWER!! This feels like it might surprise a lot of people so come in for the show starting Thursday.

Leaving This Week: Star Wars: Mandalorian & Grogu wasn't with us for long, so come in and catch up before the last showtimes are over Wednesday. Also gone on Wednesday is the jumpscare-fest Passenger.

The wait is almost over.
Tuesday morning begins our FREE Summer Movie Series at Parkway Cinema, and we couldn't be more excited!
We'll kick things off with DOG MAN at 10:00 AM on June 2 & 3. Come early seats are limited.

Opening This Week: The YouTube sensation Backrooms is adapted for the big screen by Kane Parsons (aka Kane Pixels), the 20-year-old wunderkind who brought the series to an entirely new level of popularity through his self-produced short film. Starring Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave [Oscar nominee], Doctor Strange) and Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value [Oscar nominee], The Worst Person in the World), the film explores what happens when a person disappears from our world and gets trapped in the liminal spaces between realities. We expect very big things from this one.

Also New: The Breadwinner, starring standup Nate Bargatze and the wonderful Mandy Moore (This is Us, the underrated Saved!) as a couple whose employment statuses change and cause chaos at home. Can this guy learn to be a good Mr. Mom, or will the house, and their family, be doomed? PG-rated fun for the whole family.
