I constructed this bridal robe for a bride, made from her mother's wedding dress! This may be my most beaded one yet!

A short love letter to New Glarus and it's surrounding communities:

Centered Threads Tailoring Studio has been in New Glarus for FIVE YEARS now! It's been a lot of fun looking back at the projects I've worked on in that time.

Since setting up shop in 2021, I've learned and expanded in ways I didn't even know I needed or could have anticipated. You guys keep me guessing; I never know what kind of project or trend is coming next!

I could not have asked for a better town for Centered Threads to be a part of. This is always a topic of conversation for my long-distance customers who make the trip because I came "highly recommended." It's agreed - this community is wholesome. I'm proud to be here and to continue helping you with those obnoxiously long pants and dresses.

I am grateful for your support, in person and online! I can't thank you enough! Cheers to the years ahead of us!

THANK YOU to everyone who inquired and participated in my "New Beginning" Vintage promotion last January!

Besides hearing the wild stories behind the repairs/cleaning, I had the opportunity to make a few robes, a sentimental pocket square and the chance to alter this warm, wearable garden party, pictured below.

My most common alteration on vintage (that is intended to be worn again) is letting it out, or making additional panels for the torso. Here, the bride knew she didn't want a long train, so I was able to use train fabric to make more room around the zipper.

Now it zips up like a dream. 💜
